adidas’ Updated Super Shoe Does Not Disappoint
The original Prime X Strung exploded onto the scene in 2022 and had runners raving about the shoe, and the new version is a great upgrade to the original. Featuring 4 different midsole foam compounds and 2 separate carbon plates this shoe delivers on combining s soft ride with super responsiveness. The upper is the biggest upgrade over the previous version as it locks the foot in nicely. The stack height of 50mm in the heel and 43.5mm gives a huge lift to the runner, although it adds some weight to the shoe which comes in at 10.5 oz, a bit higher than other shoes in the same category. This shoe is best for long-distance racing and training for people looking for a plush running experience.
