The brand-new Asics Metaspeed Sky Paris takes the throne as the most advanced racing shoe in the Asics lineup, designed to increase speed and help conserve energy by extending your strides. This special edition Metaspeed Sky features an exciting new midsole foam, FF LEAP™, that feels super lightweight and bouncy on runs. Above this new foam is a layer of the previous pinnacle of midsole technology, FF TURBO™ PLUS. These two work in together to enhance responsive properties while offering more stability when landing.
The Asics Metaspeed Sky Tokyo and the Metaspeed Edge Tokyo both use a carbon-fiber plate but do so in slightly different ways. The Metaspeed Sky Tokyo positions its carbon-fiber plate slightly higher with a thicker midsole in the toe, granting a higher energy return and a lengthened stride. In the Metaspeed Edge Tokyo, the carbon-fiber plate sits slightly lower, and is fine-tuned for cadence runners, allowing them to conserve more energy over time.
