On Running has made an impressive name for itself in the racing shoe field, so it’s no surprise that their newest uptempo trainer takes inspiration from their signature racing shoes to deliver a fast, propulsive, and smooth ride.
The Cloudflow is back with its 5th iteration with some major updates to help carry you through speed intervals or tempo runs in comfort. While the previous iteration featured On’s dependable Helion foam, the Cloudflow 5’s midsole is made up of their more responsive Helion HF cushioning for maximum bounce and rebound with every step.
Infused in the midsole you can find a glass fiber nylon-blend Speedboard, which adds even more propulsion and energy return as you take on speedy runs and workouts. This cushioning and incorporated Speedboard is also paired with a pronounced rocker shape and grippy rubber forefoot pads to keep you moving forward and ensure smooth and effortless transitions. Finally, the lightweight and fast design is rounded out by a ultralight and breathable engineered woven mesh upper.
