The all-new Altra Escalante 4 returns at a lighter weight with more flexibility, creating a versatile trainer to meet your daily needs. The decrease in outsole rubber and lower stack height creates a more connected experience to the ground while you run.
Cushioning has been revamped with 24 millimeters of Altra EGO™ midsole foam, allowing you to feel connected to the ground while absorbing impact. This midsole also includes InnerFlex™ technology, adding grooves throughout the midsole to allow for more flexibility and movement. Altra also includes their Original Footshape™ fit in the Escalante 4, allowing room for your toes to spread naturally while securing the midfoot.
Lacing up you’ll notice the engineered knit upper, creating a comfortable sock-like fit that offers a forgiving fit. This upper design allows for comfortable movement while maintaining a breathable experience while you move.
